Hahah.. OK so I would never send a fake thank you out to anyone, but this technique is faux embossing! This was for this challenge on Splitcoast. The technique wasn't hard at all! It has a great effect on the card and it makes the card look very elegant!
I used Rose red for the card base and a 1 1/2" strip put through my crimper. The 5/8" grossgrain ribbon is also rose red. The next layer is pink pirouette and it is only slightly smaller than a card front. Then the basic gray and baja breeze for the main image. I then covered the corner with prima flowers and silver brads.

very cool. I have not heard of faux embossing before how is it done???
I'm loving the faux embossing, thanks for providing the link to the SCS challenge. I'm stuck at work but dying to be home to try this technique!
