Hope

There is always Hope

I made this card for a friend of mine going through a rough time. I embossed on papertrey white paper with my largest scalloped nestibilities using my cuttlebug. I then stamped the image with Rose Red craft ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I watercolored it in with Rose Red, Regal Rose and Always Artichoke. I really love to watercolor and feel this turned out simple yet classy. I think there needs to be some shimmer somewhere but I don't know where yet. If I had the pretties kit I would add a pearl somewhere. Just a thought. :)
Recipe:
CS: Papertrey Ink White
Ink: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Always Artichoke
Stamps: Illuminations
Accessories: cuttlebug, nestibilities, embossing powder, heat gun

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colors and your embossing! Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. BTW- I live in Alabama, too! We have lived in Madison since 2003. I'm actually a Tennessee gal (Go Vols) and while I miss my Smokey Mountains, the folks in Alabama have easily made this our "home!" Take care!
